Baptist Foundations
- This course provides the basics of the Baptist Doctrine. It includes the elements of Communion, Baptism, and Salvation as well as other doctrinal beliefs central to the Baptist faith.   

Foundational Courses


How to Study the Bible
- This course teaches the student how to study the Bible for spiritual growth and understanding. The student will learn how to use the Inductive Bible Study approach to  interpret scripture and apply it to their lives.  

Ministry of the Holy Spirit - This course provides the doctrinal beliefs necessary for the student to understand the person, role, and power of the Holy Spirit. The course teaches the student the role the Holy Spirit plays in the life of the believer.  

Growing Toward Spiritual Maturity - This course develops a strategy for identifying and understanding how we grow spiritually, this course will help us to become more intentional in Bible study, prayer, lifestyle choices, evangelism, and spiritual gifts.  

After completing the following courses, the student will be awarded a Foundational Church Ministries Certificate.  

Standard Church Ministry Courses


Old Testament Survey
 - This course provides a sweeping overview of God's working from creation through the books of prophecy and poetry. The overall class is divided into three separate course sessions to cover all topics.  

New Testament Survey  - This course presents a chronological sequence to New Testament study centralized by a central theme—the person of Christ. Divisions are the synoptic Gospels, the Gospel of John, the Book of Acts, the Pauline Epistles in chronological order, the General Epistles, and the Book of Revelation.   

Ministry of Evangelism - Equips the believer to carry out Jesus mission to spread the Gospel. This course is designed to make disciples that make disciples. It also explains the doctrine of the Gospel so believers can effectively communicate it to others around them.

After completing the following courses, the student will be awarded a Standard Church Ministries Certificate.  

Advanced Church Ministry Courses


Beyond Reasonable Doubt (co-published as Evidence and Truth) - Aside from personal faith in God, is there any evidence to substantiate the claims of Christianity? You be the judge! This text is an introduction to the study of apologetics. It will take you step-by-step through the well-documented evidence in support of Christian beliefs and Scripture. Whether a skeptic or a believer, this book will help you reach a verdict—that could very well change your life!

Spiritual Warfare - This course deals with preparing the believer for spiritual warfare as they are taught to embrace their authority in the spirit realm. Disciplines of prayer will be explored further as a battle tactic. Come learn about your authority in the Spirit and embrace your role as more than conquerors through Jesus Christ.

Biblical Beliefs - This course presents foundational Bible doctrines in a popular, easy-to-understand format. Covered in the course are creation and the fall of man, faith and regeneration, justification and adoption, prayer and worship, angels, Satan, resurrection and judgment, and the church.

Breakthrough Prayer - This course is the study of praying for spiritual breakthrough in the life of the believer.  Includes the power of prayer to break strongholds, prayer through praise and worship, and empowering the believer through prayer.  

Study of the End Times - Study of the basic doctrines of eschatology or the end times. The study goes through the views of the rapture, tribulation, and millennial period as well as the final judgment of God.

After completing the following courses, the student will be awarded a Advanced Church Ministries Certificate.  

Leadership in Church Ministry Courses


Effective Leading: A Guide for All Church Leaders —
There are a wide variety of areas with which volunteer and professional church leaders must contend today. This course explains the difference in leaders who are effective and those who are efficient and what this means to the local church.

Know God's Will - Knowing and doing the will of God is essential to having a deeper relationship with God.  This course will cover issues of how to know God's will, how to listen for God, and how to do the things being required of one who has become more sensitive to to the flow of God's spirit.  

Teaching Adults - This course is designed to provide in-depth training for those who are teaching the Bible to adults. Teaching adults is really about training leaders. Adults are created to be spiritual pillars of the church. Their leadership in family, ministry, and workplace impacts lives deeply. 

Teaching Children - This course provides techniques for engaging and teaching youths and children. It provides tools necessary to develop and teach youth ministries. 

After completing the following courses, the student will be awarded a Leadership in Church Ministries Certificate.
