Psalm 100

“An Invitation to Worship”

Many of us have been invited to attend different social events, and even religious events, but nothing compares to being invited to worship. Worship is a deep personal one on One interaction with the Father. Many of our worldly invitations are second hand, and so nonchalant that most of the time you don’t really feel like your presence will be welcomed. Oh, but the Psalmist gives us a personal invitation to MAKE a joyful noise. When you make something you are creating it. It’s unique. Your joyful noise may not sound like mine but sincerity, not uniformity, is what counts.

SERVE. Who wouldn’t want to serve a God that hung the sun and moon up in the sky? Who flung the stars into place? But you have to KNOW Him. The bible says that we should worship Him in spirit and in truth.  You can’t truly worship God until you know Him. He reveals Himself to us every day of our life. And now because we know him we can ENTER in. “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise.” When we enter the house of the Lord, we are to enter with thanksgiving on our hearts and praise on our lips. But why should we do all of this? BECAUSE HE IS GOOD; Glory to God! His loves endures forever and His faithfulness endures through all generations. Take this invitation personally and worship the Lord today.

 Dear God,
I pray that You will allow me to take this invitation to heart and enter into true worship with You,?because I know that You are more than worthy of all the glory, honor, and praise.
In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen
