I pray that you are having a great week. With COVID-19, unemployment rates up, and so much sickness, I want to encourage you to become keenly aware of your mental health. Depression can set in very quickly; and we must realize that feeling alone is a great contributor to mental breakdowns. Please remember that I am here to support you in whatever you are going through. You are not in it by yourself!

YouTube Services: Thank you so much for helping use reach our goal of 750 YouTube Subscribers. Guess what? I am resetting the goal to 800 subscribers. Please share our Sunday Worship Services with family and friends and ask them to subscribe to our YouTube page.

Back To School/At-Home School: Please share with your family and friends that we will have a Back-to-School supplies giveaway on Saturday, August 8th. In addition, Minnie’s Food Pantry will supply food and COVID-19 test will be provided. All of these events will occur on the SMBC parking lot from 10:30-1pm.

Voter Registration: Again, I must remind you to register to vote. If you have moved or changed any information that differs from your driver’s license or major form of identification, when compared to your voter’s registration (VR), change your VR now. We need to vote November 3, 2020.

Prayer Time: Please continue to pray for our bereaved families and those who are sick! There is power in prayer! In fact, we are to pray for our church at noon and 7pm daily.

Appreciation: I would like to give a special shout-out to all of our ministry leaders for plowing ahead with your ministries through Zoom. Please know that you are greatly appreciated.

I pray that God will continue to bless you. You know that I love you!

A pastor for all people,
Isiah Joshua, Jr.
