The Plano Housing Authority (PHA) has opened its Voucher Waiting List TODAY at 10AM. This is a rare opportunity—the list only opens every 3 to 5 years and will be available for just 3 days, closing Thursday at 3PM.

2025 Black History Month Essay Contest – Submissions Now Open!
We’re excited to announce that submissions are now open for the 2025 Black History Month Essay Contest! This year’s theme, “Consequential Beats: Exploring the Role of Music in the Fight for Social Justice,” invites students to dive into the powerful connection between music and social justice movements throughout history.
Eligibility
This contest is open to current 9th-grade male students in the Dallas Metroplex.
Prizes
- 1st Place: $500 monetary award
- 2nd Place: $250 monetary award
Submission Deadline
All essays must be submitted by February 14, 2025, at 11:59 PM CST.
