Prison Ministries at Shiloh

This ministry is a part of the Coalition of Churches in Prison Ministries (CoCiPM) in the DFW area, and seeks to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ within prison walls. We do this by teaching, facilitating Worship Services led by ministers from SMBC, writing letters to inmates, and participating in the Coalition’s Gift of Light ministry.

The prisons we visit in the Tennessee Colony/ Teague, Texas area house approximately 10,200 inmates-- the Beto One Unit, the Boyd Unit, and the Michael Unit.
