Sunday School

At Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, our Sunday School Ministry is dedicated to “Growing in Knowledge, Anchored in Love” through the study of God’s Word. Online each Sunday beginning at 7:30 a.m., adults and young adults gather both in person and virtually to explore scripture, deepen their faith, and foster meaningful Christian fellowship. Together, we seek to grow in spiritual understanding and actively live out God’s love in service to others.

Our Youth and Children’s Sunday School is currently offered for home study, with weekly lessons provided below. We are committed to supporting families as they guide the next generation in their spiritual growth. 

In Sunday School, we go beyond simply learning about the Bible—we embrace its transformative power in every aspect of life. Grounded in the truth that God’s Word speaks to our deepest needs and highest aspirations, we are committed to allowing scripture to shape our thoughts, anchor us in love, and inspire us to action.

Dear Shiloh Parents,

Unit III, “Special Offerings and the Sanctuary ,” Lesson 10 relates David’s refusal to accept a gift from Oman for a sacrifice to the Lord because David would not “offer burnt offerings that cost me nothing.” In lesson 11, we consider Solomon’s Temple dedication and lavish sacrifices. Lesson 12 examines the laying of a new temple foundation by the people who had returned from exile to Jerusalem. Lesson 13 concludes the quarter with covenant renewal and the people’s pledge to observe the commands of the Torah and reject the abuse and neglect of the Temple.
